Initial Idea

The first discussion is about style and vision, including a review of client-provided sources of inspiration such as reference images and design intent. This stage establishes the creative direction and overall aesthetic.

Define the technical framework of the project:

Required dimensions and sizing
Wood selection (paint grade, stain grade, or specialty species)
Glass type and performance requirements
Sticking & Panel Profile selection
Any custom or architectural detailing (shaped-tops, dentil shelfs, decorative hardware, etc.)
Applicable building code path for compliance
