True-Divided-Lite Construction

TDL: individual glass units divided by wood muntin bars

With TDL construction, should a single unit of glass be damaged, it can be individually replaced without needing to replace all glass within the door - a significant advantage in terms of cost and convenience compared to Simulated-Divided-Lite construction where the entire glass unit would need replacement.

Our advanced Low-E insulating glass significantly reduces energy expenses by helping homes stay cooler during the summer and warmer in the winter.

The sealed-unit itself features two individual panes of glass, separated by a warm-edge spacer-bar, creating a sealed airspace that is filled with argon gas. This configuration maximizes visible-light while offering excellent energy efficiency across various climates.

As standard construction, interior clear glass applications are supplied as single glazed; 1/4" (6 millimeters) thick for the greatest strength and security - thicker than most manufacturers that supply 1/8" (3 millimeters) thick glass.

Only Solid Wood Stands the Test of Time

Veneers do not weather as well as solid lumber over the same time period and are subject to delamination and peeling.

Construction Methods

Solid Wood Stile-and-Rail Construction: More prestigious than thin veneers over finger-joint or particleboard cores where you have to be concerned about scratches, knicks, sand-throughs, and delamination.

Hidden Mortise-and-Tenon Joints: Mortise-and-tenon construction allows for maximum gluing surface, creating strong structural bonds, resulting in quality, long lasting millwork.

Kiln Dried to 10% to 12% Moisture Content: This process creates structural stability allowing for solid wood beauty, while minimizing warp. All lumber is dried to a carefully calculated moisture content, resulting in long lasting dimensional stability.

Double-Glazed Insulating Glass: Double-Glazed glass has two panes to reduce heat loss as well as outside noise. Where applicable, the use of advanced Low-E coatings, warm-edge spacer bar, and argon gas are used to significantly reduce energy expenses by helping homes stay cooler during the summer and warmer in the winter. Further advantages include reducing outside noise, as well as improving safety & security.

Solid Wood Raised Panels: Raised to an overall thickness of 1-3/8", creating superior definition of panel & sticking profiles, as well as providing superior insulation from outside elements*

Free Floating Panels: Wood expands and contracts. You can't stop is, so we design for it. The free-floating design allows panels to expand and contract without cracking.

3/4" Panel Tongue: Provides maximum strength and insulation over conventional 1/2" tongue. Thicker wood equals greater strength, security, and insulation for piece of mind.
