Important Note: Objects viewed through obscure glass change in appearance depending on viewing distance, viewing angle, and lighting condition. As objects move farther away from the glass, details become increasingly diffused and less distinct. The images shown are intended as general visual references only, and do not represent all real-world viewing conditions.

Privacy ratings range from 1 to 9, where a rating of 1 indicates that the glass is as clear as possible.  Glass with a rating of 9 offers maximum obscurity; however, this does not mean you cannot see anything at all.  Glass with maximum obscurity makes it difficult to see anything clearly through the glass – especially as distance away from the glass increases.  Glass with a low rating offers minimal privacy.  Glass with a high rating offers maximum privacy.

Technical:

Not Temperable* Note: Non-Tempered glass is less resistant to stress and impact when compared to Tempered Glass; therefore, Non-Tempered glass is not advised for use in areas where glass is subject to conditions such as, but not limited to: environments with rapid temperature changes, collisions with other objects, or high wind loads – especially in larger sheet sizes. Notice: glass breakage is not covered by the manufacturers warranty.
